The influence of the principal's leadership, the School committee, and the parents, on the quality of Primary Schools

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine: (1) the principal's leadership
on school quality, (2) the role of school committee on school quality, (3) the
role of parents on school quality, (4) principal's leadership, the role of
school committee, and the role of parents on school quality. This research was
an ex-post facto research with a quantitative approach. The population of this
study was educational staffs, educational committee, and parents at SD Inpres
Syuru and SD Persiapan Negeri Mbait 2. Data collection techniques carried out
in this study were observation, questionnaire and interview. The statistical
method used to test hypotheses was using multiple linear regression. This study
shows that: (1) there isa positive and significant influence of the Principal's
Leadership on the Quality of Public Elementary Schools in Agats City with a
contribution of 1.5%; (2) there is a positive and significant influence on the
role of the School Committee on the Quality of Public Elementary Schools in
Agats City with a contribution of 5.5%; (3) there is a positive and significant
influence on the role of parents on the quality of public elementary schools in
Agats City with a contribution of 9.5%; and (4) the leadership of the
principal, the role of the school committee, and the role of parents,
simultaneously have a significant influence on the quality of public elementary
schools in Agats City by obtaining a double correlation coefficient (R) of
0.121 and FRegression of 2.564 with p = 0.000.
