Abstract
Energy is a very scientific term that is deprived of its usage in arts and sciences. But this energy has a whole deal of information that could be dealt with the current ideology of ecocriticism. Cosmic energy is the energy of the cosmos and is derived into three energies, the human, the natural and the spiritual. The human energy as we could see had superseded the natural and the spiritual energies. The energies derived could very well be witnessed that they are deprived of the spiritual energy and the spiritual energy could bind together the other two energies. Science and technology had been used as a trump card to abuse the current ecological crisis and even it could be the case, science and technology together had helped the understanding of the universe in a larger extent. A combined effort of science and technology, cosmic energies and the current ecological crisis, would bring a balance in the ecology. This is validated through the novels of William Golding.
