Abstract
Employee engagement has
emerged as a critical determinant of organisational performance in contemporary
workplaces. Engaged employees are motivated, committed, and more likely to
contribute positively to organisational goals. This study examines the relationship
between employee engagement and organisational performance, focusing on
mediating factors such as leadership support, recognition, and work
environment. Data were collected through an online survey of 250 employees
across diverse industries, and analysed using correlation and regression
analysis. Findings indicate that higher levels of employee engagement
significantly predict enhanced productivity, job satisfaction, and perceived
organisational success. Leadership support and recognition were found to
partially mediate this relationship. The study highlights practical strategies
for HR managers to foster engagement and improve organisational outcomes.
