Online learning and transformation of higher education

Abstract
Online learning refers to acquiring education and skills, where learning
and instruction takes place in digital form over the internet. Although in
practice since many years, it has come up as a mainstream form of acquiring
education during the COVID 19 pandemic. This research attempts to analyse
various ways in which online learning has impacted and transformed higher
education during the past few years. The aim of this research is to examine the
effectiveness of online mode of learning and how it has modified the scenario
of higher education in India.
