Heavy metal contamination and its ecological implications in the Yamuna River

Abstract
This study investigates the sources, impacts,
and mitigation strategies of heavy metal contamination in the Yamuna River. By
analyzing water samples from various sites along the river, we assess the
concentration of metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and chromium. The study
highlights the severe ecological and health risks posed by these contaminants
and proposes practical solutions for reducing pollution and restoring river
health.
