The challenges of public administration in managing cross-border cooperation

Abstract
The research study critically examines the multifaceted challenges encountered by public administration in managing cross-border cooperation. Using a systematic literature review and a comprehensive case study of the European Union (EU), this study effectively identifies the significant obstacles that impede effective cross-border collaboration, including legal and regulatory barriers, political and cultural differences, and communication and coordination issues. In addition, this study expertly explores potential solutions that could address these challenges, such as fostering increased collaboration and communication, utilizing cutting-edge technologies, and fostering the development of common frameworks and standards. Furthermore, this study draws insightful conclusions from the EU's experience with cross-border cooperation, providing valuable insights into the challenges and potential solutions. The findings of this study clearly articulate the critical importance of sustained efforts to enhance cross-border cooperation and effectively address global challenges through efficient public administration practices.
