Abstract
This article searches the significance of local ownership and
community-based approaches in the context of peace building. It highlights the

processes to foster sustainable peace. The article examines various strategies
and initiatives that promote local ownership, emphasizing the role of community
engagement, dialogue, and capacity building. By exploring into case studies and
relevant literature, this article demonstrates the potential of community-led
approaches in achieving lasting peace and stability.
