LA question du corps: Nietzsche face à Platon
Authors
Mamadou Bakayoko
Abstract
Philosophical reflection has generally focused on subjects relating to the soul, on metaphysical questions and sometimes on social issues without giving the body a place of choice. Plato considers it a hindrance to knowledge because it is a defilement for existence. He is, therefore, the cause of our suffering on earth. Unlike Plato, Nietzsche put at the heart of his "philosopher" its valuation. For him, the body is the thread around which everything is constituted. This is the reality from which the true knowledge of man is possible.
