Abstract
The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) Factorial with three replications comprising of ten treatment combinations of organic manure and liquid manure. The study revealed that application of Vermicompost @ 7 t/ha along with Jeevamrut (Drenching @ 5 % + Foliar spray @ 3 %) significantly influenced growth and yield attributes of bell pepper and recorded (82.4) per cent increase in yield over control along with less incidence of insect pest and diseases. However FYM @10 t/ha + VC 3.5 t/ha + Jeevamrut (Drenching @ 5 % + Foliar spray @ 3 %) recorded highest TSS (0B) and ascorbic acid content (mg/100g). Hence, application of Vermicompost along with Jeevamrut for getting better growth, high yield, and least insect pest and diseases incidence can be recommended for commercial cultivation in mid Hill condition of Himachal Pradesh.
