Abstract
Urbanization is a process in which rural population shift to urban areas. Urban population is increasing at a very fast rate which provides better living facilities. Urbanization is an index of transformation from traditional rural economies to modern industrial one. The process of urbanization is a function of socio economic changes which take place in society through time 34.88% of Haryana’s population lives in urban areas as comparison to India, which is 31.16%.
