Financial Analysis is the process of identifying the financial strengths and weaknesses of the firm by properly establishing relationships between the items of the Balance Sheet and the Profit and Loss Account. The project work is an outcome of A Study on Financial Performance of Selected Companies of Sugar Industry in India. The study was carried out for the period of five years to analyze the financial performance of the company. The main aim of the present study is to find out the Financial Performance of selected Sugar Companies in India. The sample for the present study constituted 20 sugar companies in India. The research design adopted for the present study is analytical in nature and secondary data was collected from the published websites of organization for the research. In the present study Financial Performance is measured using ratio analysis, Altmans Z-score analysis and correlation analysis. The present study would reveal the financial performance of the selected sugar companies in the elaborate manner.
