Educational thoughts of Swami Abhedananda: A Critical study

Abstract
Swami Abhedananda’s thoughts on education have profound implication on the theory and practice of education. His philosophy of education was based on the Vedanta. He advocate man making education and suggested brahmacharya during student life. He focused on the training of the mind through meditation. He felt education should be imparted in mother-tongue and through real life experience. The philosophy of Abhedananda’s educational thought was based on practical Vedanta which has been enshrined in this article.
