Kolha women not only shoulder the responsibility of home management and child care but also actively involved in working outside the house hold and supplement their income by wage earning. They play dominant role in the field of economy. Thus their health status is of paramount importance for their family as well as for the community. Poor health condition reduces their ability to take care of the family members and also their earning capacity.
