Ciprofloxacin analysis on SQF- 505 by striping square wave voltammetry

In this study a stripping square wave voltammetric method was developed and validated for the direct determination of ciprofloxacin (CIP) in pharmaceutical formulation using dropping mercury dropping electrode (DMDE) surface. Optimal conditions for ciprofloxacin determination by stripping square wave voltammetry as folows CH3COONH4, 0.10M; pH = 7.0; Vpulse = 30mV; Vstep = 10 mV; Tdrop = 5000ms; Velectrolize = -1200 mV; Telectrolise = 9s; stiring helps increase current intensity dramatically. Validated stripping voltammetric technique can be recommended for use in aquaculture quality control and pharmacokinetics studies.
