Author(s): M Tuo Donoukporo
Abstract: Our study of the deviant behavior of health professionals is a contribution to the development of the modern health system in Africa in general and particularly in Côte d'Ivoire. Indeed, the health system is the scene where we observe many deviant practices hindering the modernization of the health institution. Notwithstanding the different developmental processes undertaken by the authorities on a factual basis, and the theoretical approach with the approaches proposed by authors, to improve the quality of care, the health system is still in a traditional situation to the point of not being able to respond to Aspirations of the populations. In this work we want to understand and explain the persistence of deviant practices in modern health centers. This was done through the analysis of the interrelationship between the formal structure and the informal structure defining the organization. Therefore, we commit the African health institution to the path of organization. Thus the sociology of organizations is convened for a managerial analysis with a view to modernizing it effectively by ridding it of all deviant practices of ethical rules.
