Abstract: The elements present in medicinal plants play an important role in the treatment of diseases as described in Ayurveda. Energy Dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) has been applied for quantitative analysis of multi elements present in medicinal plant. XRF technique, one of the most powerful and quick multi elemental analysis with high sensitivity has been used. The data shows presence of thirteen elements in varying concentration. Such information could be helpful in standardization of herbal products since the Indian medicinal plants play an important role in maintenance of human health.
