Privacy preserving mobile access of auditable health data using cloud storage

Abstract: As people are busy these days with their schedule they will not get enough time to visit hospitals in such a case its better to have mobile access to their data via smart phones by storing data in cloud in order to provide security and privacy to the user’s data. So there is a great demand for mobile access of health data but it imposes risk on the privacy, security and integrity of personal health data. In this paper privacy and security can be provided by using cryptographic systems and the algorithm used is Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), which provides greater security and efficiency, key management is done with the help of RSA algorithm in order to generate and transmit key securely, for data integrity we used hash function to create message digest to provide authentication and role based access control. Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-1) is used to create message digest to provide authentication.
