Labour Efficiency in Rural industries

This paper analyses the determinants of labour efficiency in rural industries. The study of rural industries has drawn the attentions of scholars, and researchers in recent years. This is because of increasing the number of rural industries, production, employment and income on the one hand, and the lack of fund, raw materials and human resources on the other hand have created a lot of problems for researches in rural industries. In fact, rural industries are the back bone of economic development and standard of livings of the rural mass to a great extent. So the study of rural industries in different angles is very important in the industries asked society. Most of the rural industries are labour intensive industrialise. It has been the source of employment and income of many rural women in the Indian society. Moreover, it is very important to note that the study of labour efficiency has been neglected in India and foreign countries. But this is an undeniable that efficiency of labour differs, from woman to woman in relation to their social economic backgrounds and working environments. Hence an, a attempt is made to find out the determinants of labour efficiency in rural industries.
