A comparative study of anxiety level between sportsmen and non-sportsmen in relation to their socio economic status at university level

In the present study, an attempt has been made to compare the Anxiety level between sportsmen and non-sportsmen in relation to their Socio-economic status. The study was carried out on 150 students (75 sportsmen and 75 non – sportsmen) male person. The data was collected by different coaching camps. The age of the selected subjects ranged from 18 to 25 years. Only those players were selected who had attend the inter college competition at m.d.u university Rohtak. Only Anxiety and Socio-Economic status variables were selected for the study. The data was collected through comprehensive Anxiety test to measure anxiety and a common Socio-economic status scale questionnaire composed by (jalotas, Kandey R.N,) to measure Agression level was administered. The data was analyzed by t-test. The Investigator observed that non-sportsmen having more anxiety level then the sportsmen in high socio-Economic, medium socio- Economic status.
